About My Work
I come from a trading card game background, having played Yu-Gi-Oh! since June of 2002, and my deck-building style reflects this. It is crucial to me that all of my decks have an immediately recognizable theme. I like to build my decks around a single mechanic and often about half of the talent cards utilize the mechanic directly and the other half support it indirectly.
I try to make all of my decks roughly equal in power, so that they can all be played fairly with one another. I generally aim for Hasbro Tier 2 (Mace, Dooku, Anakin). My decks are all also primarily designed for team play, as I rarely play 1v1 and find it much less fun.
In addition to being a TCG player, I am also a Star Wars buff. For this reason, I have decks that are designed for some pretty obscure characters, sometimes getting only a few seconds of screen time or less.
